This pair of pistols are fully silver mounted are signed Jacob Sees on the top facet of the brass barrel. Sees worked in Elizabeth Township until his death in 1812. The locks are marked Brong, for Peter Brong who worked in Lancaster starting in 1794. A pair of such highly decorated pistols made in Lancaster County and surviving in such fine condition is extraordinary.

Condition: Good to excellent overall condition. One silver end cap replaced; crack in stock reglued; very minor patch to wood at front of locks.
